ABOUT US

Our story

My journey in the world of fashion began in the 1996-1997 period, when I earned my diploma as a women’s pattern maker at the prestigious Istituto Secoli in Milan. From there, I began my apprenticeship as an employee in various tailoring shops, a valuable experience that allowed me to get hands-on experience with artisanal work.

In 2017, I took the big step of opening my own tailoring shop and workshop in Genoa. At the beginning, I chose to focus on repairs and alterations: it was a fundamental training ground that allowed me to study women’s physiques, bodies, and different builds up close, learning how to make a garment fit perfectly.

But my passion for design and creation continued to evolve, eventually involving my husband, who now designs and creates alongside me. This year, we decided to join forces and take a decisive turn in our lives: we chose to leave the world of repairs behind us to dedicate ourselves entirely and exclusively to our collection.

Today, Erresse Sartoria is the culmination of this journey for two. I design and create an independent line deeply inspired by the refined elegance of the 40s, 50s, and 60s. A return to authentic sartorial care, made of unique pieces and limited editions, designed for those who choose the luxury of a timeless style.
